What It Does
Sarvoʼs DM Water Plants strip virtually every dissolved salt and mineral from feedwater, safeguarding heat-transfer equipment, chemical reactions, and finished products. Each system begins with a detailed inlet-water analysis so engineers can configure the ideal treatment train. Typical architecture combines multimedia filtration for turbidity control, followed by twin-bed ion exchange columns: a strong-acid cation SAC) unit exchanges calcium, magnesium, sodium, and other cations for hydrogen; a strong-base anion SBA) unit swaps chloride, sulfate, nitrate, and silica for hydroxide. The resulting H⁺ and OH⁻ ions merge to form pure H₂O, delivering conductivity < 10 µS/cm.
For higher resistivity (> 15 MΩ · cm) or silica < 5 ppb, optional mixed-bed polishers or continuous electrodeionization CEDI) modules are incorporated. Custom skids handle flows from 1 m³/h to 500 m³/h, with fully automated PLCs orchestrating service, acid/alkali regeneration, and in-line hardness or silica monitoring. Resin-life algorithms minimize chemical use, while degasser towers or membrane degasifiers strip CO₂ to lengthen run times. Compact footprints, corrosion-proof FRP/SS vessels, and remote IoT dashboards ensure rapid installation, easy maintenance, and dependable operation.
